Xbox 360 Celebrates its 5th Birthday in UK

The Xbox 360 has today turned 5 in the UK, just over a week after its birthday was celebrated in the US. Microsoft has taken this opportunity to talk about certain landmarks in the Xbox 360's history, including HD gaming, Achievements, Xbox Live Party chat function and of course, Kinect.

"Families are looking for more value than ever this Christmas and looking to stretch their money," Stephen McGill, director of Xbox and entertainment in the UK and Ireland said.

"An Xbox 360 console and Kinect can bring everyone together this season and entertain every single member of the family, from kids to grandparents. And with Kinect for Xbox 360, all you need is your voice, hands and body to jump into the controller-free fun."

Congratulations to Microsoft for this great accomplishment. Now, all that we request is a slice of cake mailed to us. We're just kidding... no but seriously, where's our cake?
