The US defense department has truly revealed and discussed it's ownership of the 33rd largest computer in the world. This computer is made up of over 1700 PS3's and will be used to analyse large amounts of high resolution imagery. It's capable of analysing billions of in seconds instead of several hours previously. Great stuff! It's worth noting that they worked directly with Sony out this and didn't pack their Best Buy shopping carts with all these PS3's during their shop!
